Hi Sonia

I want to leave you with something simple this week. A question that I come back to again and again — and one that I think has the power to genuinely shift how you approach your health.

The question is this:

What does my body need right now?

Not what does the latest diet say. Not what worked for someone else. Not what you think you should be doing based on something you read online.

What does your body — right now, today, at this stage of your life — actually need?

It sounds simple. But most of us have spent so many years following external rules about food that we've lost touch with our own body's signals. We eat according to a plan, a clock, a set of rules — rather than paying attention to what we genuinely feel and need.

And here is the thing: your body is communicating with you all the time.

Fatigue is your body telling you it needs more nourishment, more rest, more support.

Bloating and digestive discomfort are your body asking for more fibre, more water, more time between meals.

Cravings are often your body's imperfect way of signalling a nutrient gap — not a character flaw, but information.

Steady energy, comfortable digestion, clear thinking, restful sleep — these are your body telling you that it's getting what it needs.

Learning to tune into these signals — and respond to them with nourishment rather than restriction — is one of the most powerful things you can do for your health at this stage of life.

So this week, I want to invite you to pause before meals and simply ask: what does my body need right now?

Not perfectly. Not every time. Just occasionally. And see what you notice.

Your body knows more than you give it credit for. Start listening — and it will start guiding you.

Warmly,

Sonia
